| Wow..it's now march...3 more months and I am graduating from high school...time flies by really fast...okay, now an update on my colleges:
Got accepted to:
SUNY Cortland
SUNY Oneonta
SUNY New Paltz
CUNY Hunter
PACE University (the one in Pleasantville)
SYRACUSE University
Got rejected from:
SUNY Geneseo
In total, I applied to 9 colleges. Still waiting to hear back from 2 more colleges.

| sigh...i always waste my time. today, i could've done all or most of my hw and have tmrrw free to have fun and hang out, but i was to "busy" watching a chinese series....sigh....i'm always procrastinating like this. i need to change this habit; i tell myself this all the time, but for some reason i just can't seem to break this bad habit...i know this is not a good enough excuse buh....
hmmm...how do ppl in the oldern days use a typewriter? once they typed and made a mistake, what did they do? re-type everything? computers today are so cool; we get to type "backspace" and erase whatever we want to erase...
my head hurts from the a whole day of chinese series...

| everything happens for a reason. i regret getting braces because it's a waste of my time. why? because before i got braces, i knew that i need braces to prepare me for my jaw surgery because i am under bite. but recently in august, i decided not to do the surgery because i know my family and i will not be able to withstand the consequences. yesterday, i talked to dr. lai, my orthodontist, and he said there's no way he can help me reverse all the braces preparations that i have done these two years and change my teeth back to the way it used to be. i knew i shouldn't have gotten braces. but too late to say that right now. so basically, braces didn't make my teeth more perfect, it made it worse. a valuable lesson for me: decide on something carefully and with great thought, and make sure you don't regret it later on. i would not blame anyone for this; instead, i will learn from this. i guess i am destined to not have a regular jaw...o wells. life goes on. |
